Browser-Based MMA Fighter Builder and Tournament Simulator

GOATMMAKER is the original browser-based MMA fighter builder and deterministic tournament simulation game. Players shuffle through legendary fighters from UFC, PRIDE, and Strikeforce, assign one fighter's career-wide ability to each of ten key attributes, and enter the custom build into a seeded 16-entrant tournament bracket.

The ten draft attributes span striking, grappling, and physical durability: Fight IQ, Chin, Cardio, Knockout Power, Boxing, Submissions, Wrestling, Speed, Kicking, and Footwork. Each custom fighter's performance is determined by attribute matchup advantages, finishing probability formulas for knockouts and submissions, and seeded variance.

Game Modes

• Fight Night (Daily Challenge): The official ranked daily tournament. Every player drafts against the same seeded roster, enters a shared 16-fighter bracket, and competes on verified daily leaderboards with persistent stats.
• Exhibition (Solo Simulator): Build custom fighters without limits. Run unlimited solo 16-entrant tournament brackets against randomized opponent fields with instant replays.
• Versus (Multiplayer Rooms): Create private rooms with custom codes. Draft fighters alongside friends and run a shared, synchronized tournament simulation.
• Moneyline (Matchup Wagers): Analyze generated fighter matchups, evaluate American betting odds, and test fight prediction skills with fictional points.

Simulation Mechanics

Bouts resolve through deterministic matchup mechanics: Knockout Power tests Chin, Submissions test Wrestling defense, and Boxing, Kicking, and Wrestling contest Footwork and Speed. Ratings are normalized within divisions for pound-for-pound fairness across eras.
